  • Charles Russell Speechlys LLP 5 Fleet Place, London EC4M 7RD United Kingdom (map)

BILA is delighted to invite its members and friends to its first event after the summer break on Wednesday 16 September 2026 at 6.30pm: a free informative roundtable discussion where we will be exploring the issues that arise from the Employment Rights Act 2025 and the ripple effect felt in areas of the law beyond employment, that all lawyers need to know about.

The event will be hosted by Charles Russell Speechlys LLP, at 5 Fleet Place, London EC4M 7RD. The roundtable discussion will be followed by a drinks reception.

Our speaker will be Sarah Fraser Butlin KC of Cloisters Chambers. Sarah is an experienced employment and discrimination barrister. She is regularly instructed in complex, high profile cases. Her recent work includes appearances in the Court of Appeal and Supreme Court. Sarah is also an academic, teaching law in Cambridge University.

We have only 20 places available, which will be allocated on a “first come, first served” basis.

To confirm your place at this event, please return the attached Registration Form to our Committee Member Chiara Muston (chiara.muston@crsblaw.com) by and no later than 4pm on Monday 14 September 2026.
