The formal Annual Dinner of  BILA again took place at the Law Society – on Friday 24 January 2014.   BILA members and guests numbered 126 people, many having travelled from Italy to attend. All enjoyed, apart from the wonderful meal, the speeches of  the Italian Ambassador H.E. Pasquale Terracciano, the President of the Law Society, Nicholas Fluck and of course our President, Rocco Franco. The Guest Speaker was the independent writer and consultant on international affairs, and former editor of The Economist, Bill Emmott and he entertained his audience with many anecdotes about Italy.
