The British-Italian Society Founded over sixty years ago, this lively national society works to increase knowledge and understanding in the United Kingdom of Italian culture in its widest sense, in terms of history, institutions, way of life, language and contribution to civilisation. It is extremely active, organising lectures, publications, trips to exhibitions, readings and concerts. It has its own magazine, Rivista, and sponsors various academic prizes.
